Supergirl

Lately, Hubby has been letting Girl Terror "help" him play his on-line superhero game. She even created a character and loves to make "Kitty Girl" run, jump, and save the world. I thought this was harmless, but no. He's corrupted my baby girl, and now I'll never get to play dollies.
Tonight after supper, Hubby and I were lingering at the table reading. Girl Terror was leaping around the house, being her usual self. She found a tea towel, and decided she needed a cape. Hubby tucked it into the back of her shirt, and she soared around the living room for awhile. Then, she bounced over and demanded that he "pretend 'puter." Pretend to be on the computer? Okay... then she told me the same. "Pretend 'puter." So the two of us were sitting at the table, pretending to type, like idiots. I asked her why, why exactly am I doing this? No answer. She was too busy flying and bouncing. Then it dawned on Hubby. She was being the Superhero in the game. We were at the computer, and she was in the screen, being part of the game. She is Supergirl. She has a tea towel/cape, and she can leap tall buildings, and fly among the clouds. All she needs is a pair of Superman pajamas, and the transformation will be complete.

Next time you need her to go to bed - sit at the dining room table and pretend type out loud ..."Supergirl is tired and goes to bed"

She has to follow the script...Right? LOL
