All alone, so sad and lonely...

Hubby left this morning to go to "Culture Camp" with the entire school. They are out in the bush for 3 days and 2 nights. I am home with the two terrors. Alone. Sad. I will have to cook my own supper (gasp!) and entertain the kids all evening by myself! Then I will have to crawl into a cold, empty (but all mine, mine, mine!) bed. Have a pity party for me.

Feel free to Blogroll me, Tammy. I love company! I was looking at your counter and like it more than the one I have on my site. I might switch!

Great site, Tammy. I hope you survive your time alone and the kids don't drive you nuts.

If you're looking for something to do, how about this: Go to http://squelchie325.blogspot.com and see if you can give Cara any advice on home schooling. She is a neophyte, forced into it by circumstance. You may have a tip or two for her, you bein' a school marm and all.

Well, it sucks to be alone when you don't want to me. Usually it's me traveling on business and I'm lonely while my husband is back here with the kids. I suppose each side has its ups and downs, huh.

I was a single mom for awhile way back when - after the practice marriage fell apart. My two oldest daughters and I spent a lot of time being the 3 muskateers. There are som good things to be done in that type of situation, good bonding. Maybe you can tap into some special "mom with kids" kind of experiences that will make it more fun?

Good luck!!

My husband will be away for three nights and two days this weekend. But I don't have any terrors to look after. Just a smoochy old kittie and a silly rambunctious husky.

As much as I hate it when Father in Chief heads out of town (for many of the reasons you mentioned), I (secretly) love having the big bed all to myself. I love having my limbs everywhere, with nothing to bump into and no limbs are bumping into me. Although I usually do end up on his side of the bed... mabye I'm subconsciously looking for those limbs ;-)
