My sweet baby girl (can you tell the kids are napping?) is turning four tomorrow. She's a big girl now, and my heart is breaking. I realize I have to let her grow up, but it's sooo hard. The good news is, she's never leaving me. She says her plan is to have 4 kids, 2 girls and 2 boys. They are all going to live in my house, with me. I mentioned yesterday (when they didn't nap) that perhaps her husband and children would want to live in their own house, not with me. She said "Rowan will live here with me, because I say so." I'm not sure Rowan knows just yet that he is going to be the father of her 4 children. Wait until he finds out he has to live with his mother-in-law!
Someone asked Girl Terror yesterday what she's going to be when she grows up. I thought she'd say teacher, since both her parents are teachers. But instead, she just about made my heart explode by replying "I'm going to be a Mummy, of course!"
Tomorrow we are having presents, and balloons, and dinner out with friends. I'll give you a full report.

Brings back such sweet memories from my kids birthdays when they were younger. Hurry up, lock the door and don't let her out - they grow up much too quickly and join the Army and leave you and break your heart. ( bitter???)
