Life Lesson #27

Lesson #27 (a) After you pick all the jalepenos off of your pizza, be absolutely sure you wash your hands before putting your contact lenses in.
(b) Smiling at the children does nothing to alleviate their fears when you are pounding on the bathroom wall, howling "Oh, the pain!! Oh MOTHER OF GOD, IT HURRRRRRTSSSS"

Tammy.... Have you been waxing? You should never let children see you wax your legs NO matter what the box says it is NOT painless!

OH, Lord. But you can still see? No blurriness? Eyes still tearing when they should? Phew. All's well that ends well, then, and lesson (painfully) learned. For you and the kids!

I have been there and done that! OOOWWWW!!!!!

and my little princess freaks out when you seem to be in any pain. I can't tell you how many times I have done something like smash my finger and then smiled sweetly through tear stained eyes pretending that it didn't hurt a bit, just to make her feel better.

OMG...I am squeezing my eyes shut and wincing. My husband got medicated dog shampoo under his contacts this weekend. Golly that was fun!

I feel your pain...did the SAME THING myself a few years back...I was chopping those little orange ones, I think they were habanero peppers, and I got it in my contacts and it didn't come out for days!!! So make sure you give them a good wash. It wouldn't come off my cutting board or hands for days either, no matter how much I washed them both...it did HURRRRRTTTTTT!
