Heard in the car today.....

"SNOW!! Snow, Mummy! I loooove snow. It's my favourite! What's your favourite, Daddy? Hmm? I like snow. Snow is my favourite weather. I like it a lot. Snow, snow, snow. Hello, snow! Do you like snow, Tannen? Mummy, Tannen says he likes snow! Maybe it's his favourite season, too! What's your favourite, Mummy? Do you like snow like I do? Do you like it a lot? Hmmm? Maybe there will be snow, and I will go outside, and wear my mittens, and hat, and my coat, and I will play! Play in the snow! I will make snow angels! Do you know how to make snow angels, Mummy? I know how! First you lie down on the ground, and then you go like this!! And then you get up, and it's a snow angel! I will need my boots! Right? Boots for in the snow! To keep my toes warm and cozy. Because snow is cold. I'm so excited! I love the snow! Mummy? Do you see the snow?!"

Guess what the weather is like here this evening. Go ahead, try. You'll never guess it.

Did she take a breathe?

A true Child of the North, that one. (And DID she stop for air??)

It will probably lose its appeal at some point. We had a few flakes in the wind yesterday, and it did NOT call forth Great Rejoicing - even from my youngest.

What? Maybe snow? Or hell, maybe a little sunshine.

My little rugrat cheered because he could wear his hat and mittens. Must be a kid thing.

We too are expecting snow...I can hardly wait to stick our exchange student outside. The coolest he has ever experienced is 15oC. Oooohhh poor him. Bring on the snow!

Snow. I wasn't surprised I guess. However I refuse to do anything about it. If it melts then I shall not have to shovel nor sweep it.

Question is, how long before it melts...we'll see.

And again today with the snow. I was always crazy for snow, too. I still live all year waiting for Christmas! Sky, the good news is the weather man says it will be up to 7 degrees by Tuesday. So this is just a passing thing.
