Boy Terror shows his true colours

Boy Terror has come to life. Until now, he has been a very peaceful child. He liked to play alone. He smiled, but said very little. Whatever was going on, he was content to watch and wait, like a little Buddha. No more. The terror has been unleashed, and I fear it will never be reined in again. He discovered screaming. I don't know why it took this long, his sister has been trying to teach him for months that screaming is the prime way to communicate. No worries, though, he's got it down pat.
I go to the bathroom, he screams. I go into the kitchen, he screams. I go downstairs, he screams. I leave any room where he is, he screams. I sit on the couch, he screams. Girl Terror kicks him in the head, he screams. Well, that one is not unexpected. I take 5 seconds too long bringing his lunch, he screams. The toys are out of his reach on the couch, he screams. His father comes into the room....he smiles. No screaming. If I carry him around, singing and dancing and performing various circus tricks, he stops screaming. So that is what my day is reduced to. Doing my best to keep this 28 pounds of screaming child happy and content. Wish me luck.

After reading that - my first thought was to have you just to sit down next to him and scream too - see who last longer. Then I realized your the adult - dang that messed up the equation. LOL

I'm visiting via Michele! Sorry about the screamfest...unfortunately they still do that when they're teenagers. :(

I'm here via Michele as well. Sorry your little one seems to be in a vocal mode lately. Don't do what my grandmothers did -- lace my bottle with a little brandy. Although that does explain things.
