random thoughts

Not an original idea, I saw it on a number of other blogs and liked it, so of course I stole it. Plus, I am too scattered today to think clear, coherent thoughts!
-I can hear Barney upstairs. I said I'd never let my kids watch that freak, but here I am, bellowing "Watch your show!" so I can have a few minutes alone. Being a parent made me lose all my high-and-mighty morals and standards.
-I have a hickey! Don't get too excited, Hubby had nothing to do with it. Boy Terror is teething, and he bit me. Hard. Right on the shoulder he was snuggling.
-Boy Terror is teething. I mentioned that, didn't I? Well, teething to my kids means puking and diarrhea. For DAYS. I think we're past the worst, but I plan on going to town today, so he probably is just storing it up for this afternoon.
-We are going on a trip! In July! Hubby's family is having a family reunion, and we are going! One of his uncles is helping us pay for it (read, Uncle is financing our trip) and I can hardly wait. Hubby's family is a great group of people.
-The last time we went to a family reunion was the week after our wedding. It was our honeymoon. We stayed in a room next to his Auntie and sister. Our bed had crackly plastic on it. It was soooo romantic.
-It's summer-ish again, which means sunrise was at 5:27 am, and sunset will be at 10:26 pm. It will be light for most of the night. At this time of year, I can't remember why I want to leave!
-I have now bored myself to death, so I'll put you out of your misery, too. Have a great hump day, everyone.

When they bite during teething it hurts so much but at the same time you feel bad for them because you know they are hurting, too.

Liked your random houghts.

I hear you...my daughter says, at bedtime, "But the sun's still up!"

Didn't bore me, Mom.

(Where in Canada are you? British Columbia? Far, far north? Just curious.)

I was SO excited for your hickey for, like a second there. Hope the next one is for real ;)

Sounds like a lot of fun ;) I hope that teething goes better and that your trip in the afternoon went well. Have fun on the family trip too.

But where is the reunion?

And that whole light/dark thing. That's just crazy, I can never wrap my mind around that whole concept. I just have to SEE it for myself.
