Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
In the morning, Laughing, happy Fish Heads
In the evening, Floating in the soup
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
Ask a Fish head, Anything you want to
They won't answer, They can't talk
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yummm
I took a Fish head, Out to see a movie
Didn't have to pay, To get it in
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
They can't play baseball, They don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers, They don't play drums
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
Roly poly Fish heads, Are never seen drinking
Cappacino in Italian restaurants, With Oriental women...Yeah
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
(Yummm)
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
Fish heads, Fish heads, Roly poly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads, Eat them up, Yum
YEAH!
Hubby's note: Here's the link for this great song. I remember learning it in Junior High School.

My kids sang that song for years. Count your blessings. At least it's not "Dead Puppies Aren't Much Fun" which is also on the Dr. Demento cd.
Actually, I love those songs. Please don't tell anyone.
I love that song - the video cracked me up. And then the evening my #1 son and I sang it in a restaurant in Mexico where my #2 son (age 11 then)had just received a bowl of seafood chowder containing a gigantic fish head. It was a priceless memory.
My eldest son's Sunday School teacher taught him this song:
Great big gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts, crispy fried turtle nuts,
and mutilated monkey meat,
four human eyeballs rolling down a dusty street
and me without a spoon or a straw
ROFL! Yeah...we have the Dr. Demento's greatest hits CD with that song, so we're also making sure our children are truly rich in culture.
Niiiice!
So funny that everyone kinda knows that song about the great green globs but everyone's version is different. Guess it depends on location.
Mine...(circa 1979)
Great green globs of greasy, grimy, gopher gut, little birdies bloody feet, mutiliated monkey meat, french fried eyeballs rolling down a dusty street, that's what (Maria's) made of. Or whomever's name.
