I'm usually right. Except when I'm wrong.

It doesn't happen very often, but today was The Day. Hubby was right. I was wrong. He brought his stereo upstairs and set it up on my kitchen counter last night, and I insisted it was a bad idea. It crowded my canisters. It did not look "right". It would not be useful, I said. In fact, I made him promise to not irritate me by listening to the news at breakfast or radio at supper. I was not pleasant about the entire situation.
I was wrong. (Right about now, Hubby-who-should-be-working is doing a little dance of glee.) The kids and I listened to music at breakfast and lunch. We danced while I did dishes. It is very convenient to have a CD player near the CD shelves. Hubby was right.
Now that I've gotten that over with, I would like to tell you a few things he has said recently, just in case you are thinking "Wow, that Hubby is one smart dude."
-Easter weekend, when we were discussing eggs and bunnies with Girl Terror, my husband told her "Yes, and in Newfoundland, they got some Easter SEALS today!"
-One day this week, Hubby walked home during his prep, and well, one thing led to another, and we were soon enjoying a "nap" together. (Before you get too thrilled about my terrific sex life, remember that I had major surgery a month ago. So we aren't exactly swinging from the chandeliers or anything.) During one lovely moment, I murmured something about how nice it was to see him in the middle of a work day. And he, in a wave of brainlessness, said "I'm getting PAID to do this!" Nothing says "I love you" quite like "I'm getting paid to be here."
So, to sum up, Hubby was right today. But he has a lot to make up for.

I hate it when they're right, especially when they're really right and I'm not.
