I've always tried to look at the positive side of things. In that spirit, here is a brief update on my life:
- The contractor is going to dig up the yard in approximately two weeks. Therefore, I do not need to mow the lawn! Why bother, if the entire thing is going to be destroyed?
- The contractor is going to be digging a moat around the entire house. The Terrors are thrilled! Such fun! We will be living in a castle!!
- The chilly spring weather means I don't have to use the air conditioning in the car, and my classroom is not boiling the students!
-The ice in the lake makes the water along the edge feel so much warmer!
-By accidentally tossing my laundry all into the dryer, and shrinking my favourite clothes, I have forced myself to lose weight.
-Several students have started skipping my class, since they've realized that there is no chance in hell of passing at this point. The good news in this? I can cut down on my photocopying.
-I may have found a link between red meat and my headaches. The only good news in this is that steak is expensive...I will be saving money.
-I missed taking my meds last week for 36 hours. I know now just how important those little white pills are!
That's it. That's all the happy I can find at the moment. I'm sure there's more, but I'm too cranky to see the silver lining right now.
