Awkward....

You know how you don't do something, thinking you will just do it later?  And then it's been a day, and you're still procrastinating, but it's not a big deal because tomorrow is a fresh day and you're sure to get everything done?  And then, suddenly, it's been over a MONTH, and you still are ignoring that thing????  Yeah.  That's what happened to my blog.  Once in awhile I'd think of a good blog entry, but it wasn't "worthy" of being the One To Revive The Blog.  I still haven't found that entry, so I will be lazy and just give you a photo update of things in the Average household.

Lucy got to meet and play with her siblings.  In an odd twist of fate, two of her litter mates live about 6 houses away.  There is only one thing more fun than a whippet....THREE WHIPPETS!!
That is Scout, Ranger, and Lucy.  Taking a picture of all three was nearly impossible, but with the help of some treats, Bonita (other whippet mom) managed to get one quick shot.

We had Halloween, of course.  I made a cake for the staff:

And took the Terrors out for treats:

Such cuties!
Hubby was gone on a trip for a week, so I naturally had a party.  The ladies came over in their pj's, we ate, drank, and watched "Bridesmaid".  If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it.  Go pee first, though.  Otherwise there might be a laugh/pee accident.  It's that funny.  There are no pictures of the party.  Well, there are....but I don't want my friends to come stab me to death!
Girl Terror decided to get her hair cut from this:

To this:

I didn't cry, not even a little.

I turned 41.  I wasn't really in party mode, so it was a quiet birthday.  Still nice.

Whew!  We've been busy!  So....what did I miss around here?  What's new?  Anything going on in your life??

Can we talk awkward? My daughter's EA is hitting on me. I like him just fine but want him to stick to being professional, dangit. And I'm afraid to write that on Facebook or Twitter in case he friends me. Agh! Therefore, I will comment anonymously, but maybe you can figure out who I am. Because you're clever, that's why.

I love your cake. And Girl Terror's hair is gorgeous. And I can't believe we still haven't met each other in real life. And happy birthday!

Oh my goodness....that is BEYOND awkward!!!! Yes, I'm pretty sure I know who you are. In a town this small, shouldn't we have met by now??

Wanna come work at my school? Hehehe. And the hair? Wow! What a change. Good for her for taking the leap.

Hope we can meet for tea, coffee, or lunch sometime.

Oh, and Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, A.M.!

I got your message on my blog, still can't respond by email! Yes, it's Banff. Whenever we go somewhere it's either Banff or Abraham Lake near Nordegg. Because we can. And because for so long, we couldn't.

FYI: the link on your blog here to my blog goes to my old blog address (wackymummy), which for some reason has been taken over by someone named "Marvin". Now *that's* awkward. ;)
