Arghh!! @Q#%$(

The maintenance guy for our housing was out 2 weeks ago, and said he'd be back within a week to do the necessary work. He noted that the lawn had not been taken care of yet, and said someone would be by shortly to mow. Okay....it's a wee bit late to care about how the lawn looks, but whatever. He asked if I had any concerns, and I said no, come whenever, BUT if at all possible, please please do not be here between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. That is sacred nap time.
Today, a guy arrived to mow the lawn next door, and our lawn. With a weed wacker. He started my front yard at 1:15. He moved to the back yard a few minutes ago. It takes a loooong time to cut an entire summer's worth of weeds with one weed wacker. It's October, the leaves have all fallen, the grass is dead, flurries are in the forecast. But by the end of nap time today, my lawn will be trimmed to with an inch of the ground.

There should be mandatory house worker no-naptime law.

I'm with you sister.

But you're ready for Autumn now. That's great.

We have people working on our backyard right now. And it's naptime. It's a project that will last several weeks.

I had a exterminator guy like that. Always showed up too early or much later than our 'scheduled' time. I hope the weed wacker guy didn't mess up naptime!

Let's see: He was a week late and came at the wrong time of day. That guy used to do MY lawn.

Too bad he doesn't know "the code". All our friends know that if the blinds are down in the kids rooms that the kids are sleeping - even the guy that tests our water knows that one. Unfortunatley the water delivery driver doesn't and always comes in the afternoon - but if I want water I guess I will suck it up!
