Okay, to answer a few questions: The 895 calorie dish was a cassarole. The bottom layer is ground beef, with onions, in a tomato sauce. On top of that, there is a layer of noodles in a cheese sauce, and then it's all topped with bread crumbs. Don't bother making it, it was truly nasty tasting.
In other food news, I went to a Pampered Chef party last night. I am neither pampered nor a chef, so it was a bit of a stretch for me, but it was still a fun night out. Most of my entertainment came from watching the hostess's mother-in-law go for a record in the "How many people can I insult" department.
More food thoughts: If you want to be part of a recipe exchange, let me know. It's a fun way to get lots of recipes, and you just have to send one recipe to one person!

Isn't it amazing how some people insult others as a way of life? My sister had the Mother-in-law from hell who is well hated by so many it astounds me - and she was a pastor's wife! My SIL used to be an insulter but she has mellowed over the years. I'm not sure how exactly she changed because she didn't speak to me for 2 years after I called her on her insults.
Well that would sound yummy had I not just come from the dinner table, and i'm so stuffed I can't breathe!! recipe exchanging sounds kindof interesting...especially if they are of the healthy variety, or of deserts!
Here's a free recipe for you:
