I'm feeling rushed.

Well. I just got home from our local big box store, and I am not impressed. They had CHRISTMAS stuff out! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Christmas. I am, without a doubt, the Queen of Christmas. But....I'm still cleaning Halloween make-up off my neck. The candy corn is still soft. It's barely November, for crying out loud! It all seems a bit rushed.
Is it just me? What do you think? When is the right time to start Christmas/Holiday stuff?

The first of December at the earliest, but I'm living in a dream world.

The best time to have anything to do with Christmas is probably December 23rd (I'm too much of a realist to suggest December 24th!). I cannot stand the mad commercial "buy, Buy, BUY!" that starts pretty much after Thanksgiving. Makes me sick to my stomach (which might actually be the Hallowe'en candy...)
Thx.

December 1 is fine with me, although it's good to have a reminder not to wait until the week before to actually buy gifts, as per my usual MO...

I have to say though! All this snow makes it seem more Christmasy!

In a perfect world, it would not start until after Thanksgiving. ONE DAMN HOLIDAY AT A TIME, I say. I, too, was horrified by the appearance of Christmas trees and Christmas music in early November. Ugh.
