Versatility Award

Thank you, Koreen, for the Versatility Award. I don't actually "get" it, but I love awards/ribbons/prizes, so it's all good!

The rules are to 1) thank the person who gave you the award 2) tell seven thing about yourself and 3) pass the award on to other bloggers whom you love, and, I suppose, find to be versatile.

7 Things About Me:

1. I love lists. Already, this is one of my favourite posts, just because of the listing possibilities. I make shopping lists, to-do lists, already-done lists, book lists, etc.

2. I made a "bucket list" with my students last week. It was a much harder assignment than I expected.

3. When I'm stressed I sleep-walk. Last night I ended up in the laundry room.

4. The amount of visible sunshine is directly connected to my mood every day. Don't believe me? Call me when it's raining.

5. As a child, I truly believed that we were all teeny tiny specks on a giant toy, and it was very important to not catch the attention of the Giant.

6. Now that my children are reading, I want to ban magazine covers. Orgasms? Sex? EVERYWHERE.

7. I realized earlier this week that I've become agnostic. I'm not sure yet how I feel about that.

Okay! Pass this on! I'm giving the award to Mary Poppins, Stacey, Carole, Mimi, and Sara. But I expect ALL of you to do it, and leave me a comment so I know!

I'm curious - how do you "realize you've become agnostic"??? Was it a surprise!?? :)

And by "Stacey" do you mean moi? I never know...lol

Yes, Stacie, I mean you!! I just forgot to check my spelling!!! The agnostic thing....I'll work on an explanation for another day.

I'm not sure if I'm agnostic, either. Of course, I'm not sure that dinosaurs really existed (the hoax of the millenium, I'm sure!) or that people actually walked on the moon... I mean, show me and I'll believe you!

How do you not trip when sleepwalking? I can't walk a straight line awake AND sober! How do you do it???

I like #5.

I hear you on #6. I used to think violence was a bigger problem than sex, but I crossing my fingers now that Evan won't reach puberty until he's 30.

I used to call myself an agnostic - without really knowing what it meant - I just knew I was done with any form of religion.
Now I call it like it is. I'm an atheist - pure & simple. I do not believe in god.

Eek! Just noticed this. And you know, I totally get that whole 'surprised by agnosticism' thing. I teeter on the brink these days.

I also get the moods-related-to-sunshine experience, though mine tends to be cumulative over weeks rather than day-by-day. Note how in February my posts consistently talk about how tiiiiiired I am, but in June/July? Oh, the energy!!

I will do this meme now and schedule it for Saturday. Thanks!
