back in the saddle again.

Not dead. NOT!!! I just have been busy with summer. You know, important things like hanging out on the beach, reading lots of books, and basically relaxing so much that it pains me to type.

School is back in for the year, and I am torn. Usually I can hardly wait to get back, and this year I was excited but not unbearably so. I love my job, I would hate staying home, but summer was so.....great!! Hot!! Fun!!!

This year I am teaching 3 Planning classes first semester, and 3 Planning plus 1 English class second semester. This is exactly the assignment I asked for. I didn't even have to bribe my principal, he just gave me what I wanted! What is up with that?!

The Terrors are back in school. Girl Terror is going into grade 3. I remember grade 3. I had a crush on Glen. That's as far as I want to think, because I'm hoping she still thinks boys are a foreign species. Boy Terror is in grade 1. My baby! Grade 1! He's still cute and snuggly though, so I know he hasn't grown up too much.

The whole point of this post is to say yes, I'm still alive, and yes, I will be writing again. I just have to find a way to break the writer's block. Let me know you're still here, reading, and maybe that will motivate me!

I'm here!!! See? It's me! Waving and everything! Don't leave me here all alone!!!

Seriously glad you're back. And nice to hear your summer was good and hot. It feels like fall here in Alberta, but I'm hoping for a heat wave. I'm thinking Alberta right now is the coldest province in Canada... we haven't had the heat waves that everyone else seems to have had. Oh well. At least we haven't had mind-numbing humidity either.

Maybe your principal wants to keep you happy to keep you around? Maybe you've paid your dues and now you are queen of the school? One can hope...

See you around the interwebs, friend.

Hi AM! I'm still here too though I haven't blogged much either. Summer was too busy and nice to sit in front of a keyboard.
The grass sure looks green on your side of the fence. Hhmmm. lol Have a good year, and perhaps we'll see each other.

Yep - we are all waiting for you to get back to your blog. But I watch the weather channel & know that you guys had a wonderful summer this year. Don't blame you for getting out & enjoying it. I did the same , when I wasn't working.

Summer is no time for blogging, especially in the Yukon. But yay! So glad to see you back at 'er! (And in the meantime... I'm back at work, too!)

Hello again! Good to see that you are back in the saddle.
I hope your summer was fab...I think ours was (from what I remember...the days seem to blur all together lately).
Ciao

YAY!!!
Glad to see you came back. A bit worried there that you would love summer so much that you would move somewhere warm where it is always summer and you would never write again. That would be very sad.

I'm reading! Know exactly what it's like to have life get in the way of the blog thing. Reality is a much greater priority than a virtual online presence, so your sense of balance is right on the money.

Can't believe summer's done here in SWO. We blinked and it was over. What's up with that?

Hi Average Mom--I can tell you I'm reading (and just discovered Urban Yukon a few weeks ago)... Truth is, I thought following blogs might be a neat way to get plugged in to the community, as I'll be moving to Whitehorse in the New Year. Enjoying your witty and honest style!
